9 of Tinora's High School Finest Wrestlers Getting Sent To Districts !!

           9 of Tinora High's best wrestlers are getting sent to districts next week! The wrestlers are Jacob Bishop, Anden Ankney, Dom Graziani, Devon Luellon, Aiden Helmke, Dalton Wolfrum (who won his third sectional championship), Grady Gustwiller, Gavin Bowers, Landen Newsome, and Javen Gaines. These young men each are looking to bring home some hardware from the big tournament. We are wishing them big congratulations and luck for making it this far! Coming from the Tinora family, Good luck men!

The Tinora Rams will open the season against Elmwood High School for a scrimmage matchup on August 12, 2023, at Elmwood. Then Tinora's regular season will open up at Liberty Center for an away matchup on August 19,2023. The Rams will look to open the season up with a big win against Liberty Center! Tinora beats Paulding in OT Thriller

 Tinora's men's basketball (now 10-13) led by head coach Kris Lymanstall, started their postseason run with a bang, defeating Paulding High School in an OT thriller 49-46 at Springfield High School. Earlier in the year the Panthers got the best of the Rams 51-29, but the Rams came ready to play Wednesday night! Eli Plassman hit a huge three to give the Rams a 39-37 lead in the fourth quarter. Luke Harris answered Paulding's hot start to overtime with a deep three to bring the score within 2 points, followed by Owen Ackerman getting a big three-point opportunity and hitting the free throw to give Tinora the lead 47-46 with 10 seconds to go. The Rams move their focus to the Archbold Blue Streaks, they will face AHS in the Sectional Semifinals this Friday at Springfield High School. 

Tinora MBB preparing for playoffs

 Tinora's mens basketball (9-13) led by head coach Kris Lymanstall, looks to start off their postseason play this Wednesday against the Panthers of Paulding High School (13-8). The Rams met up with the Panthers earlier in the year, a matchup where the Panthers bested the Rams 51-28. The Rams look to respond from their last matchup with Paulding High School. The game between the Panthers and the Rams will be played at Springfield High School with a tip off time of 6 PM, tickets can be bought online at OHSAA.org/tickets. Good luck, we will be rooting for you boys!
