I just knew I had to catch up with Dalton and ask him some questions about him and the team.  I started off by asking Dalton, “ So far how would you say the season is going so far?”  He responded with “So far I believe the season is going good, but there is always stuff that needs to be worked on.” From this response, we moved on to more of a personal question. I asked, “What has been your favorite memory this year or in your high school career?”  He responded with “My best memory so far is playing against old teammates from opposing schools like Ayersville and Edgerton.” This was cool to hear knowing that these guys are competing against some of their closest friends.  I then asked Dalton “Do you have any plans yet for after high school?”  His response was “I would love to go to college for either baseball or wrestling but haven't decided on the sc

Yesterday April 25, 2023, both the Men's Baseball Team and the Womens Softball Team were in action at home. Both teams were up against Ayersville High School. Both teams ended up winning by big margins. But one performance out shined the other.        The Men's Varsity Baseball Team put up 19 runs, against Ayersville that is three more runs than their pervious match up against Montpelier when they ran the score up to 16 in that game.  The Varsity Baseball team is currently 7-2 overall and 3-2 in conference play! Note that this record is not update to yet because lack of statistics inputted from the team. We hope to have an accurate record update soon!

Tinora Baseball Knocks off Fairview

Image
Tinora prevailed in a game against Fairview High School that went just over 3 hours long. Sophomore Hunter Bostelman came into pitch for the Rams in the first inning, pitching 3 and a third while striking out 3. After trailing for the entirety of the game, the Rams bats answered Fairview's in the seventh inning as Teron Ward led off with a single, followed by a Luke Harris single, as well as Dalton Wolfrum single. Bostelman plated 2 on a clutch double down the line in the seventh inning to give the Rams a 10-8 lead. Tinora's 5-run seventh was too much for Fairview to answer as the Rams moved to 7-1 on the season and 2-1 in GMC play.
